F.A.Q.

Q. Why is the pressure of my pool running HIGH?

A. A high-pressure problem may be the result of a couple of problems. Number one the return pressure valve could be turned in the "off" position or a clog in the line may be present. Other problems may be a dirty filter, which can be resolved by simply backwashing the filter. If after the backwash is complete and the pressure is still you may want to consider the professionals at All But Water to complete take the filter apart and clean it. One last thought make sure and asks that we check the filter gauge to ensure it too is operating properly.

Q. Why is the pressure of my pool running LOW?

A. A low-pressure problem is the results of what may be a couple of problems. Number one the suction lines could be either clogged and the valves are turned in the "off" position or the pump basket may be clogged with debris. Clogged baskets restrict water flow, which causes low pressure. Your pool technician at All But Water will gladly correct the problem with a thorough cleaning, leaving pool sparkling clean and ready for swimmers.

Q. What is a freeze guard?

A. Acting as a temperature sensor, a freeze guard will override the pool timer and turn on the pool should we have an unexpected freeze in weather. Once circulation of the pool begins, the freeze guard will prevent the water from freezing. (Remember that a freeze guard is NOT a heater!)
